Authentic flavours of Puglia

The restaurant at Calenella Camping Village offers traditional Gargano cuisine, inspired by the authentic flavours of Puglia and southern Italy. Our dishes are simple, genuine and carefully prepared using local products from the Gargano area, enhancing the natural taste of each ingredient with creativity and respect for tradition.

Most of the vegetables served in our restaurant come from farms located in the Gargano countryside, while our extra virgin olive oil, produced from the native Ogliarola Garganica olive variety, comes from the olive groves of Vico del Gargano and Rodi Garganico. We also select local cheeses and traditional products from the Gargano, including the famous Caciocavallo Podolico and Cacioricotta goat cheese, together with fresh pasta produced by local artisans. Our wine selection highlights wineries from Puglia, offering a range of labels that represent the quality and character of this region. Pizzas and the traditional Paposcia Garganica, a typical local speciality, are baked in a wood-fired oven, following the authentic culinary traditions of the area.

All of this is offered at accessible prices, with the goal of allowing our guests to experience the warm and welcoming atmosphere of Italian conviviality and local hospitality during their stay.
